Long procastinated post

Guess what I'll post about today? Finally about my China trip back in April from the 20th all the way to 2nd May with my family.

Defintely not a good holidays. Not because the group is not nice, not because the scenary is lousy. Its just plainly DYNASTY TRAVEL SUCKS BIG TIME! Yet til now they refused to refund me 1 full day of my tour package. Can you imagine having to miss your intended itinerary but sit in the coach for 7 hours to reach another destination BUT...still ended up waiting for almost 3 hours walking around in strange and lousy shopping district, topped with waiting in KFC. All because? Because the dear tour guide wanted to earn extra pocket money when my family, we refuse to go. Spoilt my whole holiday mood... haiz..

Nevertheless, I still have some pleasant memories of the trip. Here are some photos to share

I'm so guilty that I have not post anything for close to 2 months! Seriously very, very, extremely busy. During my free days, I'll just want to be alone, doing my own stuffs, crafting, swimming, cycling, cooking.

Let's see what have I achieved these 2 months.

- Chinese new year celebrations
- my dear cute cousin's birthday (bring the 2 gals to Illuma, Empire State. Ordered the super big burger as her birthday cake. Her expression is beyond words can described when she saw the waitress serve her 'cake')
- my long awaited family portrait with 3 of us in graduation gowns
- my daddy's lunar 60th birthday
- started my 8 lessons of ceramic class
- went Bangkok with my elder sister and came back with 69.6kg check-in luggage
- started my 1st driving practical and really had fun. Definitely looking forward to more sessions (though sometimes I really feel my hands are like my legs and vice versa. hahaha)

What's coming up next for April? That's the long planned family trip to Zhang Jia Jie, Xiamen. Finally, we get to travel together, all 6 of us. I'm really looking forward... Meanwhile I'm trying hard to consolidate and update my PassionQuirks blog. Same as for this blog.

Hi folks,

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all reading my blog. Hope you had fun these 4 days and still counting. Let's do some quick summary about my few days of celebration.

Eve: half day of work and back home for some scrappy moments before steamboat reunion dinner. Nothing interesting also cos I went back crafting after dinner :D just so in crafting mood.

1st day: went hubby's uncle house for visiting then to my grandma house. As usual, tons of feasting going on.

2nd day: went my uncle's place for potluck lunch. Shiok!!! Then back home for BBQ session with hubby's relatives. Tiring day.

3rd day: no visiting, my adorable cousin treated lunch at EmpireState with her 1st parttime salary. So sweet of her. Meet up with my old pals at T2 Sakae. So nice catching up again.

4th day: I'm rotting at home!!! :D

Finally...something to spice my life up! Wohoo~

Today is 11 Jan 2011, in short, a very nice 11/01/11. Guess what? I finally enrol in CDC for my Class 3 course on this special date!

I'm really looking forward to the different stages of the course. Just finished booking online the etrial tests for basic theory test.

31 Jan / 5 Feb / 9 Feb / 15 Feb will be the etrial tests at classroom. Will be taking the basic theory test on 16 Feb. Wohoo~ how exciting is that.

I'm short of the coursebook, 8th edition now. So I'll use my 7th edition for the time being to do some studying. Will call up the school in approx. 2 weeks time to go down collect the actual copy. After all the basic theory tests then I'll go ahead to book the practical lessons. I'm actually ultra excited over this whole thing. Wish me luck.

Goodbye 2010 and Embrace 2011...

Today's the 4th day of 2011. Hope I'm not too late in writing my blog.

Let's start with closing of 2010 which I had wanted to write but procastinated... AGAIN.. (what's new anyway :D)

Let's see...what have I achieved in 2010. Hopefully didn't miss anything out
- got my 5th year service award with my current company
- graduate from the god damn school
- travel wise, went Korea, Sydney, Melaka, Bintan
- went back voluntary work, although just 1 for this year but a good start
- hubby bought me a bicycle, we started cycling
- our 1st year anniversary
- started my 1st online small business to customise scrapbook stuffs
- started a blog for my online small business
- bought myself a 18-135mm lens

Gosh.. seriously nothing fantastic for me.. Is my life really so boring? I think I need a more exciting life.. let's see what I can set as target for myself in 2011.

Here are what I wish I can achieve in 2011
- take my basic theory test
- start my driving practical and target for a license
- furnish up my blog with all entries (wedding and accessories up too)
- start facebook account for online store
- ROLLOUT the whole passionquirks and try the whole passion, crafty business out
- travel wise, to US with hubby and China with family?
- find a new job, something I can earn more $ to justify for my degree IF my current job STILL show no mercy to my remuneration package
- a MAJOR one, make a baby? :D

Well, those are my resolutions. Hopefully I can achieve them. Good luck to all who set resolutions too. Let's work towards our goal and look forward to a good year!

Mid Week Wed SUX!

Life sux with a mad dog aka pea brainer keep biting. Wonder is life too easy for him back there in Leuven where he has got nothing better to do? Picking bones from egg is his forte? Totally spoil my day… I’m looking forward to a peaceful Wednesday and finish up my pile of work. YET… a mail like that irks me out totally! Kauz…

On the other hand.. I’m really happy for my both my friends. Another couple going to have a bundle of joy next year. YEAH~ *clapping hands*

I don’t care who are the audiences reading my blog now. But my intention is clear for quite a few people in my office. Get my bonus, get my deserved increment and open my eyes big big to find new job. I must not procastinate further… I must get my online store blog up, facebook account created and up my biz. Being a procastinator don’t pay… instead, you have to pay for being one. GAMBATTE! I believe I can do it. For the sake of my future : )

- I've finally attended Wild Wild West (my division's year end party) with no luck in lucky draw again
- I've finally arranged for a Melaka trip with my old time pals.
- I've finally attended Kampong Night (overall company's year end party) with again no luck in lucky draw.
- I've finally visited Bintan.
- I've finally finished my Christmas shopping and wrapped them up nicely.
- I've finally bought myself a watch.
- I've finally cleared my annual leaves, bringing 8+2 days over to 2011.
- I've finally get to attend a closer kin's wedding! We're going Sheraton for her solemnization and dinner on Boxing Day.

Ok.. so much for now, I'll update with photos soon. I have quite a fair bit to share :)

Finally...I’ve graduated! Waiting for convocation in November. Wohooo~

I bought a new toy for myself, a reward for my degree graduation! A Canon 18-135mm F3.5 lens. Wohooo I’m loving it~. So going to try out the lens. So far, I really enjoy using the lens for far shots, especially targetting at kids where you can capture them unaware, so natural.

Also, DH and me bought 2 bicycles. Ended up buying front and rear lightings, helmet, bottle holder, riding tights. Here’s my new baby…

On scrapping note, lately been up to making cards. Here are a few of them:

Marching into the last quarter of 2010. It's September! Another 3 months, we'll hit December and welcome 2011.

Attended 2 classes at Laines in August. 2 very different styled class by different designers. Sharon Ong is famous for her brown and highly distressed techniques, while Jaz Lee is famous for her detailed cutting skills and tons of layerings. I'm really impressed by both creative minds, their overwhelming with techniques products.

Been in scrapping mood and managed to whip up a few cards and a notebook for my sister.

This is the notebook I scrapped for my sister's birthday.

On personal note, I realise I'm not happy at all these few months. Getting too much rubbish lately from people, making the usual happy-go-lucky me lose most of my joyous self and carefree personality.

Well, this is my blog, I do believe I have my very own freedom to voice out my own personal opinion, in my own blog. No intention to mean any offence to anyone, just want to vex my frustrations. No names will be mentioned to prevent more troubles.

People who are not appreciative. It really makes me feel 'it doesn't pay to be kind'. Things I've done out of goodwill seems to appear either busybody or mind your own biz, don't come bother me kind of interpretation. Sighh I totally don't deserve this treatment. Sorry but I've learnt my lessons after 2 times of wall banging. I'll mind my own biz and avoid You whenever necessary. Don't expect me to be nice anymore. I did nothing wrong to buy things to pamper people...I'm not wrong either to warn You of mishaps that might happen. If being hostile is what You are good in, I can tell You I'm no better. I just have the choice to or not to be hostile towards You. Conclusion reached by myself, to draw a clear line between us. That's a protection line I'll draw for myself, to protect myself from future blows from You. Don't come showing me Your hostility, I don't buy that and I Promise I'll snapped at You the very next time you give me rubbish again. If nobody dare to tell You off, it doesn't mean I don't too. I believe in doing the logical things at the logical time. If You need people to wake You up from Your idea, I will, if nobody dares/wants to.

Next, don't expect me to change my lifestyle to suit anyone. I'm brought up in this manner. I have my own views and thinkings. I know what's right, what's wrong, what's logical and what's not. I don't have to show to the whole world what I've done to prove I'm someone good. I don't curry favor and stuck up to people when I know that certain person is In wrong. I'll only avoid. If that's still not good enough, I don't know what else I can do. My upbringing is so and I will remain so.

Grumblings help me vex frustrations. Learn to listen because it's because of the change of lifestyle that I'm forced to face all these. I'm NOT obliged to accept rubbish. I don't lose temper over nothing. Things happened for certain reasons.

Happy Birthday to MF! She’s on long leave til month end, so shiok. Lets hope she’ll have her B 计划 all worked out successfully : )

I took a day off from work last Friday and attended Laines’ Rusty class. Full day of scrapping, tiring but fulfilling~! Here’s my end product. I’ve added dividers inside and going use it for storing photos I developed for scrapping.

Went Science Centre and Farmart with DH the previous Sunday. I totally enjoyed it! Especially at Farmart. Hehe.. when will our prawning session be? Kinda looking forward to that. I WANT TO PRAWN!

This parrot is very intelligent. BANG! It went dead, with feet up in the air. It can even do mathematics! Trainer asked 2 boys to pick a number each. They choose 6 and 2 respectively. Trainer hung up the numbers and the clever parrot do its Math and picked the number 8! *clap hands*

What are they doing? Haha… My colleague comment on my facebook “the male tortise below tot a rock is a female and the male tortise on top tot the tortise below is a female..aka mass orgy!” I can drop dead at such comments. But its funny :D

Singapore is 45

Singapore turned 45 yesterday. Though we all had a 3 days break but 3 days seem to pass so fast and its now already Tuesday, start of a 4 day work week.

Oh ya..I have a new baby nephew yesterday as well. A national day baby...

I cooked herbal egg on Friday night. Woke up on Saturday morning, do up all the cutting, chopping and start to cook 3 big rounds of vegetables for our popiah session. Went over grandma’s house and enjoy popiah session with my uncles, aunties, cousins, niece and nephews. Few hours of gathering, I see the growth in the kids. Time really flies…

Sewing is fun~

After buying the sewing machine, I’ve taken a liking to sewing! Wanted to try sewing my own cushion cover, own quilt, own bag.. etc.

Here’s my first artpiece. My very first quilted cushion cover. Not too bad for an amatuer I would say. There are 3 buttons at the back.

Another interesting craft I’ve started on is to make fabric flowers. Here are 3 flowers I’ve made. Yet to adhere the pins at the back to make them brooches. 2 are for my sisters, 1 is for myself.

Suddenly realised I have not update my blog for ages. Its already 3rd Aug now. So sorry for being a bad blogger. But then again, be prepared for an ultra long entry this time round. Going be flooded with photos.

What’s happening these few months? Well life’s been quite the same for me Eat, Sleep, Work, Craft, Shop… I think the most exciting month is June for me. Went Sydney with my elder sister and hubby from 9th to 16th June. Spent 4 nights at Sydney city and 2 nights over at Port Stephens. The experience is really great and I love WINTER so much! See the below few photos you’ll know why. Btw, these are only a small fraction of ALL the photos we’ve taken.

Spent 4 days at Sydney city itself. Visited those significant places of interest. That includes Paddy Market, Queen Victoria Building, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Chinatown, Birkenstock Shopping Outlet, Harbourside Shopping Center, Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay and Blue Mountains. Met up with my buddy, Linda on a Saturday and we had a feast at Fish Market before we head down to Paddington Market and ended at Rocks Market before she left for another appointment. It feels so nice to be meeting up with old pals at foreign land. Spent another 2 nights over at Port Stephens, staying at Samurai Beach Resort. I really think it'll be damn cool to be there during spring or summer. Lots of activities, especially water related!

For the whole trip, I really enjoyed the roadtrip up Port Stephens. Johnny was our driver. We rented a red Toyota and drive up to Hunter's Valley then to Port Stephens.

Went for Whale and Dolphin watching and I really enjoyed myself thoroughly onboard the vessel. Love the chilling wind blowing against my face. Love the clear blue sky with big white clouds right above me. Most importantly I love the 3 massive whales and that whole group of playful dolphins that our group managed to see that day.

Done up this stitched up album for my Sydney trip. Amazingly I’m able to squeeze in sooo many photos to document the trip. I’m pretty pleased with the end product. Highly satisfied!

This album was completed sometime back, Receipe for a Happy Marriage. It’s Laines’ creative class. I added in the subject to put in 9 special ingredients for a Happy Marriage.

Scrappy Weekend

Was in very scrappy mood last weekend. Partly due to the hot weather, as well as the Sudden downpour on both days that trapped me at home.

Done up two canvas frames for both my mummy and my mother-in-law as Mother’s Day present. Hope they’ll like the frames.

Here’s the first one for my mummy. Canvas is from Art Friend that I bought about a month plus ago. I like the bird transfer and pink bird cage on the top left side. I also like the flowers and butterflies layerings. All is perfect… just feel hmmmm the photo abit small? Maybe next time I’ll change to a 5R picture.

And here’s the one for my mother-in-law. Lots of flowers and glitters. The canvas frame is from Daiso, lots of yummy $2 crafty stuffs lately. Remember to go check it out! I'm running out of canvas, shall go Daiso shopping soon and stock up on these canvas frames.

Here’s the last piece of scrappy work for Sunday night. I have an impromptu thought to scrap on my new sewing machine. So took it out, posed it for a decent photo, print it and I’m on my way to scrap it! Sewed my first layout, handmade a rose from spare cloths and did some cute decorations on those sewing chipboards from Maya Road. I like the outcome of the layout. So cute :D its fun sewing layout! Oh by the way, I've forgotten where I've seen some people scrapped about their sewing machine. Visited too many blogs, can't recall.. Just want to mention I saw somebody did a layout on sewing on papers. So here I go, my take on my new sewing machine :)

Went for Andrea Bocelli concert at Botanic Garden last Saturday with my old time pal. Had a great picnic and totally enjoyed the concert even though we only get to see the live telecast as we were allocated the Palm Valley tickets (courtesy of Ton – he’s the lucky one who got the ballot tickets!) The event ended with blasts of fireworks, which we didn’t managed to see, all blocked by trees. Only caught some glimpse of the TALL fireworks.

That’s now I’m feeling right now.

I’m so sick of everything at work now. Every single task I handle now becoming draggy, heavy weighted. Deeply demoralised by the working attitude of some people in office. Don’t they know they have to control their own temper? Don’t they know its bad and rude to show attitude to innocent people? Can’t people just learn to be more appreciative even though we're all crankily working real hard?

My Special Day on 28 April 2010

Before I start yarking, I need to warn you people that this blog entry is going to be very long winded and overly loaded with backdated pictures. Oh ya, did I mentioned I permed my hair? Here’s how my permed hair looked like in the 1st week.

That’s two photos of me at 29 year old, on 28th April 2010. Took a day of annual leave and enjoyed myself thoroughly. A simple day, precious time spent with my loved ones.

Met mummy and sis to go ICA collect our passports. The admin lady is sweet. Wished me Happy Birthday after I say “Thank you, have a nice day.” Trained down to Somerset and had our lunch at Paradise Inn. The food very yum yum I would say. Then went shopping. Then back home and bathed and off for CHICAGO musical at the Esplanade Theatre with hubby. His first time watching musical. Comment from him ‘ok la, still can watch’ after I ask him ‘how? like or not?’

Scrapbooking wise… Completed my first commissioned album for my cousin. Glad she like it and hopefully her teacher like it too. Here’s how two pages of the album look like.

Went for a photography outing with a few of my colleagues at Marina Barrage and Helix Bridge. Quite nice to be learning more about my camera and playing around with different settings. Hmmm WIND too strong up there at Barrage, most of the nightshots cannot make it. My colleague also complained. Haiz… BUT.. I do have happy encounters with my Heart and Star shapes. Took some Light Bokeh shots and I’m very pleased with them. Let the photos tell it all : )

First, a very big congratulations to my friends Ron and Julie for the arrival of their ‘thousand gold’ Amanda Ang Jia Ying. She’s a cute little babe. Looking forward to seeing her again in 2 weeks time. Hope Julie is coping well with her breastfeeding woes. Saw her facebook posts, she seems stressed out. Gambatte!!!

Oh… I think I didn’t mentioned previously that time really passed fast and I’ve been with HCS for 5 long years since Feb 2005. Gotten my 5 years service award in March. Think I need to have more self-reflections. What do I want to achieve here? : ) Well, just a random thought as too many things happened lately, stirred my mood totally. Need to find back my enthusiasium… @_@ I need TIME~ and PEACE~.

Been feeling very artsy craftsy lately.. having blows of mojo and yet no time to do..

Glad I've done this mini one though..The frame's from Daiso very long time ago. Use black arcyllic paint, crackle paint and glimmer mist for my background. Very simple 3D frame for myself, now sitting nicely at my office's desk.

Attended Family Traditions class at Laines yesterday. Awww! Long time since I've attended class and I'm really happy to get all my 10 fingers artistically dirty. Hehe.. Fabulous class.. lotsa inking and stitching. Will post my final project once I'm done. Wait for the pictures :)

2 months into 2010... here I am :D

Today is 26 Feb 2010. Its my daddy’s 59th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Still within 15 days of Chinese New Year, so a very big GONG XI FA CAI to everyone reading my blog. And sorry for the lack of posts for so long. Simply just nothing much going on in my life except eat, sleep, work, play. Have not been scrapping much too, so nothing to share as well.

BUT… Once you see a certain post, will mean I do have some works to share.

First one will be front cover of an album which I have not get started on… It will be filled with photos of people whom I’ve invited to my wedding. To me, people whom I’ve invited and were present on that special night, are truly those who deserve a slot in my heart : )

Next is a candid shot of me in my red evening gown in the hotel room after banquet. ‘Just so blessed’ it describes how I felt that day.

‘Laughter is the best medicine’… simply felt these words are perfect for this photo. Another of my favourite candid shot on my wedding day.

Here I am, writing the last blog entry for year 2009. Fast huh? Its the last day of 2009 already. Are you all pumped up? Geared up? Prepare to go party tonight? Hope all of you have an eventful 2009 and definitely, 2010 a better one for everyone of us.

Taking 3pm flight to Langkawi tomorrow. Let's hope the weather will be nice to all of us, scorch us all chao dar! Haha...

The month of December

Another month of neglecting my bloggy and very soon, in 2 days time, it’s going to be Christmas! Then another week, it’s going to be 2010! Incredible… 2009 passed just like that.

December has always been a month of celebrations, feastings, parties, gift exchanges that resulted in burnt hole in the pocket. Let’s see my list and its still adding on…

1. Had my office’s Christmas party at Carlton Hotel on 4th Dec. Had my 1st gift exchange that night too. Won myself an USB speakers from the lucky draw session.
2. Had a Korean makan session with my poly girlfriends at Square 2 on 16th Dec. Its nice feeling to have 4 of us together, eating, chit chatting… Let’s have another one again soon.
3. Had a Japanese makan session with my colleagues at Tatsu Sushi on 18th Dec. 8 people only and our jokes and laughters are loud enough to flood the restaurant. Lucky thing is we’re in a private room. Nice food, wine, sake and of cos stupid and hilarious jokes from colleagues. Great company!
4. Had lunch with my old time buddies at California Pizza on lazy Sunday on 20th Dec. It’s our annual Christmas gift exchange makan session.
5. Going to have a mini party tonight at my parents’ place with my cousins. Yummy… lotsa lotsa yummy food waiting…
6. Going to have BBQ at home with my friends. There’ll be new khakis joining too. Let’s party!!!

So much for my GLUTTON-ing sessions updates. Let me wish all of you a Merry Merry Christmas and a rocking rolling Happy 2010 ahead!!!

Millions of apologies for leaving my blog aside for such long time. Thick layer of dust piled up as I tried to wipe it clean :p

What have I been up to for past 2 months? Basically busy with my wedding, then after that busy with my work and my school project, hardly have time to breathe. I really need my own personal space. Sometimes I just need very much time on my own, no one to disturb, to talk… I really need a break. Come back, the bubbly Lydia… I need you badly…

19th Sept 2009 – 1st day of Lunar 8th month
Had our An Chuan and Guo Da Li ceremony. In chinese customs, An Chuan is to place wedding bed with auspicious stuffs on it to bless the couple with offsprings and good life ahead. Guo Da Li is when the groom deliver betrothal gifts and bride’s dowry over to the bride’s family. I don’t have the photos with me now, will upload again.

26th Sept 2009 – 8th day of Lunar 8th month
Johnny and I went through our chinese customary wedding. Pretty interesting and tiring day for both of us. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the day thoroughly with great help from all our brothers and sisters. Here are some photos from the wedding’s actual day.

Attended Kenny’s wedding at Amara Santuary on 25th October, a month after wedding. 2 more weddings coming up, 7th Nov for Zhichao’s wedding and 22nd Nov for Kim Lip & Gin’s wedding. Wish them all eternal happiness…..

Had office’s event - People’s Day on 30th. Quite nice though a short few hours. We actually went out as a team, do up a consumer electronics gadget survey then went over the Revenue House for japanese hi-tea. The food not bad, See the photos and you know… You’ll salivate as well!

Hmmm havn’t been scrapping lately except for these 3 layouts. Quite miss the nice ladies at Laines. Miss taking scrapbook classes as well. Too bad the class I targetted for Nov is fully taken, else I’ll even take half day off from work and do some therapetic treatment for myself, ie to scrap like how I did yesterday for 4 full hours. Though just 2 layouts took me 3+hrs, I’m happy with the outcome. I’m still cooking on a Maya Road album, making a princess baby album for 1 of my ex col’s wifey. Hope the lovely lady will like it. Still cooking, will be cooking for quite sometime I guess.

Very happy happy happy birthday to my sister! Her birthday's today but since she won't be at home til evening after her work, I shall cook her pasta for dinner. :)

I had a super long weekend. Really enjoyed and relaxed myself thoroughly. Life had been stressful for me. I really enjoyed this week, full heartedly.

Scrapped whole day on Friday. Finished up 2 albums and few layouts. Here are some pictures of my recent layouts. :) have not been posting any of my works lately. Time to show some work. Perhaps this might be the last round of scrapping til after wedding. Cos? NEED TO PACK ALL MY STUFFS UP! :) talking about that...I'm off to my BRUNCH then start packing le loh...

Had my fun, hen's party at Boiler Room on saturday with my crazy gang of people. Really unforgettable night. Sabotaged up stage...rounds and rounds of drinking. Thanks to all my wonderful friends. Love ya all to bits :)

Marching into September

We've marched into the month of September already! How fast is that? In less than a month, I'll be officially MRS CHAN after customary and I'll be staying with my hubby for lifetime :p

Have been missing in action for quite sometime. People have been asking me to update my bloggy :) so here I am, with a super long winded entry but mostly flooded with photos. Because to me, photos speak thousand words...

Let me see where shall I get started with... Ok my dear friend MF's birthday on 24 Aug. Met up with the other 2 guys and had post birthday dinner at Wine Company with her on 25th. Few hours of fun and laughter together makes me feel friends are indeed worth millons. Even though we seldom meet up nowadays, somehow the bond and chemisty between us are still there. Very amazing kind of relationship.

And here are the yum yum food... ALL my all time favourites, don't you love them too? Apple puree with cheese, sausage platter and chocolate lava brownie! Of cos we had our main courses, shared. Char kway tiao, salmon spaghetti, bacon spaghetti and fish&chip. Hehe simply loving poking our forks into each other's plates! Funny cos we're acting totally like kiddos that night.

Next a more mellow and meaningful event for me. My office had a charity event at Gravehaven Home. We have 30+ colleagues going there to help them do up the library, draw hopscotch, play with the kids. I'm in the library team, decorate up the walls and help to arrange and tag the library books. Of cos we did chuck quite a fair bit away due to their condition. Everybody's tired after the afternoon's event. Missy me even had blue blacks on both my knees. I didn't even realise it til Saturday morning :)

Went to the NATAS fair on Sunday. We booked our honeymoon! 8 days to Korea and Jeju. Won't be going immediately after customary. Instead we going in Jan 2010. Going for WINTER so we can go SKI!!! Yesh! Took 2 funny picture with Tweety and Sylvester. Hehe... So kiddish hor? :p

Sisters bought new tv console and sofa for our house. Here's a snapshot of our Ikea black console.

Daddy packed storeroom over the weekend. Found a TREASURE and sis say can give me if I want it. OF COS I WANT IT! I've been looking for one lor... Guess what? TYPEWRITER! Gosh and its in fantastic condition! Still have ink and I'll slowly go find ink ribbons for future replacement.

Earlier on this month I scrapped a mini album for my colleague. Simple one but full of my LOVE :)

And lastly...I finally got my wooden drawer from Ikea last night! Colleague will help me fix it up! Yesh! La la la... Happy little girl :)

Mid week Wednesday. My battery draining out soon. Too many things on my mind for a pea brainer... Work, wedding, school project... all plannings and actions. duhz... I CAN DO IT!!! Yes Lydia Kwek you can do it! Gambatte!!!

Finally finished up and satisfied with my wrist corsages. Done up 5 pieces, each with its individual beauty. Sewed up the elastic lace but not together with the flower portion. I've added brooch pin to the flower portion. Reason? My sisters can use them as brooch even after wedding if they want to. Can add to bag as accessories too :)

Nothing much to update today. Can't process my brain well.

Lousy blogger… referring to myself :) Finally managed to get some photos out and blog short summary on them. Hehe and oh ya, still no scrapping…. BEAR WITH ME PLS….

29 July 2009 already. Time flies… 3 more months to my wedding. Busy Busy BUSY!!! So many things to think, to do… My tiny brain going burst any time. To make things worse, all the while I don’t like people to nag, push me do things. Now? Sometimes during weekends, I’ll have both sides of the mummy nagging and nagging. GOSH… wonder how long can I tolerate without erupting.

Anyway done up ‘all’ (should be all) of the traditional stuffs over my side. Spent last Saturday out shopping with my mum and sister on the red stuffs and gold.
Bought these… supposed to bring the bride good fortune, bear kids…etc many many which I can’t recall off hand.

Bought my drowy also… these are what my dear mummy bought for me…

And…my sis want join in the fun, bought herself some gold too. Nice pendant? I chose it for her. Gave her plenty of ideas how to mix and match the pendant with laces and ribbons as alternatives to wearing it with chains.

Went Chinatown market and finally get to eat my favourite 5 spice snacks. Had chendol too! YUM~ SLURP~

Renovated our bedroom. The room is still empty, I have not shift in my stuffs yet. Will slowly do so.

Time really flies this time round for 2009… Half a year past… in fact its half a month of half a year gone!

Today is 14th June… Ahhh my aunt’s bday…Shall give her a sms once I touch down Singapore. I’m on plane now, flying back from Shanghai to Singapore. Was at Shanghai for the past week. I would say it’s really a great experience for me, to be outstation overseas. Thanks to Mr J for the opportunity to explore overseas. Personally, I would feel an outstation trip certainly can make me feel ‘its huge responsibility’… reason? It seems like the whole chunk of teammates can just depend on you to close off issues and bring good news back. Wohoo I finally experienced this… and I would say GREAT! I finally know what’s WORK..  I enjoyed the trip, except for the absolute boredom to walk and eat dinner alone. Its horrigible I tell you..hehe ok, maybe its because Missy Me is too used to having people travelling together, so being alone is a torture to me. Luckily my dear hubby actually took 2 days off his work, and claimed his Krisflyer points to accompany me.

Tons of eating and shopping this trip. Shop for? MYSELF! Haha… I bought quite a fair bit of clothings… all from UNIQLO! Uniqlo’s collections totally suits me. I like comfy materials with simple cuttings. That explains huh? :) Didn’t go much of the tourist attractions except for Yu Yuan, Nanjing Road, People’s Sq. Too little time and too much shopping to do :p Nvm…anyway both of us agreed that it’ll be the 1st and last(perhaps for next 10 years) that we’re going to visit Shanghai again. Nothing much anyway….

28th April...It's MY day...

Yup.. 28th April is my birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Missy Me, Myself! ^_^ Special this year. Turning 28 on day 28th... Real thankful for the wonderful bunch of friends who left wishes on facebook, sent me sms and even call me to wish me a great birthday. Tons of hugs and flying smoochies for all of you!!!

Hmmmm nothing fantastic for my special day. Took half day afternoon leave, went out with my hubby. Went Kallang to print inserts for our wedding cards then off to Tampines 1 for lunch at Mankuru, did some shopping and off to Ikea and off to Punggol Dr to see our future home then back home. Though nothing interesting, I'm still thankful for my dear hubby who took time off his busy workday to entertain his wifey.

Ok, shall be a short post today. Will update with some piggy photos tomorrow. I'm tired BUT I'm off to do up some of my lab assignments. Ciaoz

Mid of April comes real fast this year. It's Julie's birthday tomorrow. Wishing her a wonderful birthday, happiness befalls daily.

I’m all lost in time recently. Full day of work, alternate days of school and additional hours of muggings in office after work. Of cos, before my muggings I’ll have 2 or 3 pool games with my colleagues, then I’ll settle down at my seat with earphones plugged in and books all spread out.

Met up with my good, old time pals last Sunday for great dinner at Toa Payoh Mellben. Yummilious crabs! *slurp* definitely did trigger abit of the glutton desire in me now…Haha..Again let the photos do the talkings…

I’ve been appearing in office in my nerdy specs quite a fair bit recently. Eyes too tired due to my late nights, can’t take lens for long. Was feeling cranky on Monday, took this picture and mms to my dear hubby to cheer up his bluey Monday.

Received 2 parcels this week. 1 is from Purple Onions where a few of us shared the shipping cost and bought rubber stamps because of the Overstock Sale they had. The other parcel is from Deb, Maya Road. I’m one of the lucky 5 who won a RAK each from her bloggy. Trust me, she’s real generous. I was so thrilled and excited when opening up the RAK. Reason? Because it’s the first time ever I won a RAK. Sooooo…the excitement is undescrible! Hehe.. Missy Me is incorrigible ya? Little things can trigger me so easily. :p

After that, its lab submissions! Then after that, its FYP… And of cos… in between all these will be my wedding preparations. Sorry dar dar havn’t got time to keep you accompany lately. What a long Monday...

As usual, Mondays are usually long and moody. Mine ain't any exceptional. To add on, I'm dead beat today!

This weekend passed really very fast for me. Night class on Friday night, followed by a gossipy session with my buddy at Dempsey Wine Company. Had full Saturday class til 4pm then meet my hubby and friends for dinner and movie (Shinjuku Incident). Went back home and packed, paint my toe nails then I finally KO in the cosy bed. Next moment, alarm rang and its Sunday!

Had my wedding photoshoot yesterday. Very tiring yet really a great experience. Vincent, the photographer with Bridal Zone and his assistant Jennifer really make our day great. Had indoor shoots (family + couple shots) til 4pm then we head out for our outdoor shots with drizzles all the way til evening. Seen shots of couples running in suit and gown in the middle of Shenton Way before? We might not be the first but its definitely first try for both of us. Interesting experience. Next location would be Botanical Gardens. Lots of yummy greens and RAINDROPS! Hope the waterfall shots will turn out nice cos those shots got my gown ALL WET from knee down. :p FUN is the word! Finally to Esplanade for the night shots. Took some shots outside Victoria Concert Hall since the sun have not set. Then waited along the river opposite Fullerton Hotel til sky starts to dim down. Fantastic view I would say. Last one to Esplanade for our final night shots. Like the dark blue sky's effect.

Overall, I'm really overjoyed with the great experience. And we both look forward to photo viewing on Vesak Day :)

Sorry for being such bad blogger lately. No time to sit down and slowly think through what to update as I havn't been scrapping lately. I'm taking a module currently til end of April. So please bear with me for lack of scrapping. Need to spare my time for my wedding preps instead of scrapping :)

Anyway I've chosen my day and night wedding gowns. Ain't going to post any photos else it won't be any surprise anymore. 2 of my colleagues saw them and did give some comments. I can only say I'm glad I went down for a 2nd trial :p

Oh ya, bought 3 wine samples from my friend. Guess 1 of these might be our wine for the banquet.

Collected my MTO nails from Sq 2 also today. Here you go. I'll make another pair for my AD wedding in September.

I'm soooo looking forward to my weekend. Bed hunting and gathering at friend's house on Sat. R&R and lab day and also attend a 21st birthday celebration at Pasir Ris on Sun. Now set me thinking if I should go down Dragonfly, St James to collect my Alan Kuo's album hamper and a pair of tickets! Hehe won the contest! :D

Ladies and gentlemen. I bet most of you agree with me that time really flies this year. Guess what? It's already MARCH! We've already marched into the 1st quarter of 2009! Hmmm what have I done for these 2 months? Eat, sleep, play, plan... Suddenly got the urge to go clubbing, pubbing. I need to relieve some 'inner stress' that I have no idea when ever I accumulated them. Sometimes I just feel suffocated for no good reason. Haiz... never mind! Its part of life I guess. I need to learn to RELAX MORE... *breathe in...breathe out...*

Not a very relax week for me but definitely a fun one. I've been playing online games on normal weekdays til wee hours! Got me so tired that I'll try to nap during lunch hour. Hehe.. Went Wala Wala on Thurday with my colleague and I realise I can really click with these few of them that GOSH...I actually joined in to crack yellow jokes with them! Haha I don't understand why I can do that also, maybe I'm really getting comfortable to them, their character that I open up more to them too. Its good la I would say :)

Had scrapbook class at Laines on Friday evening. I enjoyed the class. Messing around with mediums...creating collages. And THAT'S MY STYLE! A messy Miss Lydia! Sad to say, I have not finished my project. Still have more to go before I can sew it up to be my canvas tool bag! Sample can be found on Sharon Ong's blog. She's really a genius in crafting, I SALUATE her passion towards art! Supposed to go for pool session with my colleague after class but too bad, full house. Perhaps next time.

Saturday... Went Amara to collect wedding invitation cards and confirm food trial menu. Talked with my coordinator who will leave her current post for another hotel. I sincerely wish her all the best in her new challenge in life and certainly she'll find it worthwhile to give herself a chance to explore further. Trained home to put the cards and bus to Parkway. Shopped for some lingerie and had dinner and bus back home. Nothing much after that :)

Sunday... Woke up to have telco with my Uni supervisor over my FYP. Then dozed off on sofa. Went for my colleague's ROM at Amara. Dozed off for an hour once I reach home. I'm tired cos I took medicine for my slight flu lor. Guess I got it last night from the constant heavy rain since evening. Soooo now I'm going off to my cozy bed already. Good night folks!

A lazy and scrappy Sunday

Long time since I last slept close to 12 hours and YESH! I did just that today. I think I'm really exhausted lately. I KO-ed 11+ hours. Finally awake close to 1pm today! A round of applause for Miss Lydia who have not sleep for such long hours for a long long time! Haha

So what I did for the whole day? Let me recall. I wake up, on tv, snacked (I snacked because nobody's at home, so no home cooked food). Then finally get my butt to my studyroom and start packing abit, to give way for a more spacious spot for me to do my scrapping. The output from whole of today are posted below. 2 layouts and 1 frame.

A busy Friday

I had an amazingly busy Friday. BUT... I truly enjoyed every single moment, close to 12 full hours of fun together with my hubby. We started off with meeting at HDB hub at 10am for our lease agreement appointment with the officer to pay our 5% downpayment for our BTO flat. Then off for late lunch at Mac, then off to pass some documents to hubby's friend. Then we went bridal shop for my gown trial session. Can you imagine 5+hrs of gown tryings? In and out of the big and bulky gowns? Gosh, I never realise that gowns are all pretty heavy! They sure weigh a TON! Haha..Decided on both my day and evening gowns. Actually posted an album in facebook this morning with some sneak pictures BUT was ordered by Mr Chan to take them down. Reason? 'take down la, no more surprise if you post' So... to keep all my dear friends in suspense, you shall not see any of my gown selection photos! Haha, with an exceptional though. Because she's online when I post the photos! :D Went Jalan Kayu for briyani and prata dinner then off to Tampines Courts and Ikea for some renovation brainstorm session then head back home. Indeed tiring but I really had fun. HUGS for my dear hubby for so much suggestions and comments. I love the details shared by him today. At least I know what he wants too :)

Oh. I made a pair of new specs. Was asked by the optician to go len-less for few days because of the hazy weather and my dry eyes. Here are some snapshots of me and my nerdy specs!

Oh my GOSH....hahaha...seriously I can’t imagine myself being featured on such GIGANTIC poster! Sometime back, my col ask for help to pose for few shots with a new product not launch in market yet. So I pose some happy and frustated faces. Goodness! I really have no idea its going to be for a EUROPE exhibition. Thank goodness not for Singapore lor… wahahaha… I have not seen all the posters, they’re flown back at the experience showroom area. Perhaps later when all go for lunch, I shall go take some shots and keep...and perhaps SCRAP about it :D

Hmmm realise I have not updated my blog for so long le. Very very sorry for that. Guess this post should be a summary of my WHOLE Chinese New Year for this MOO MOO year with some photos to share. Finished up my last bowl of beef cup noodle from Taipei. Chris bought 4 for me and I shared 2 with my hubby. Anyone going Taipei? PLEASE remember….don’t buy anything else for me, just this brand of cup noodle will do! Haha..

Have you changed your ezlink card? I didn’t really purposely went down to queue, to change my card but rather, seeing the queue is rather short the other day, I just simply get done with it. Added my name with sticker alpha to personalise it a little. Not too bad huh? :p

Hmmm a BIG PONDERING LOOK from me… Because? Because I’m freaking, ultra bored at work now. Somebody hijacked my remote and test station and I simply got NOTHING TO DO but to blog…

Downloaded photos from my handphone of the 2 recent layouts I’ve done. Finally something’s cooking ya? Actually I've been cooking on and off la, on my ROM guestbook. Just that haven't finish, so cant post yet. I will rush work and target to finish by tonight! Then I can bring over to my grandma place on Monday to share my joy with my uncles and aunties.

Layout 1 – me with my dearest girlfriends from SP EC Club during J's wedding night. Am really glad to know them and although schedules are so packed for us to meetup, we still manage to squeeze out time every now and then for dinner and do some catching up.

Wohoo… I bet you guys have no idea how much I miss scrapping! Lately nothing dangles in my brain to strike the inspiration bell and that’s the main reason to the lack of posts in my blog :p

OK. Finally done up the mini album I got started a week ago! Saw the Maya Road tag untouched in my stash box, felt abit wasted. So…I dug out some photos and decided to give it a go and created an album titled ‘noteworthy.. a new member’ Greatly inspired by Lia to use crystals and beads on her craft works that I’ve decided to make a bunch on my front cover.

Tiny little details

Finally getting all started on wedding preparation. First step out to find photographer and videographer ain’t easy at all. Hubby and me had quite hardtime shortlisting the ‘reputable’ and right-priced ones. Made a few appointment to go view their portfolios. Hopefully can make our confirmation soon. 26 Sept 2009 is getting me worried since it’s a HOT date, many services were taken up already. I pray Coffee and Tea still have slot for me :p

Am I a kiasu bride-to-be? I guess I am…Maybe not totally but measurably is. I’ve listed out my To-Do list for wedding preparations and WAH SEH… the list is now running at item nnumber 40! Haha.. aloh huh? Those are all written as and when I thought of something. From choosing banquet, photographers to buying items for Guo Da Li to fixing appointments for mani+pedi to even buying of presents for our helpers. I just want to make sure I don’t miss out on any single details. I guess my list will go on longer and longer. Gheeseeee… Isn’t it scary?

9 more months to actual wedding. Let me do some rough estimations on the timeline I have and my targets on these tiny little details.. :p AM I KIASU? Wahahaha…

Hello folks... 2008 is coming to an end pretty soon. Hmmm in approx 11.5hrs we'll be expecting year 2009 with a big blast! Tidied up your 2008 resolutions? Came up with new ones? I don't really have new year resolutions, just wish that everything goes smoothly for me and my loved ones.

A very merry Boxing Day to all! I think by now most of us already opened up our presents? Hope you all have fun this wonderful season with your loved ones. I certainly do cos I spent my eve with a group of wonderful friends. Let the picture do the talking then :)

I spent my half day busy with buying and collecting and preparing food for the steamboat on Christmas Eve. Hubby and me reach A and L’s house approx 8pm and tar dar…. We’re greeted by this big sock hanging right on the wooden door. Christmasy feel with the amber lightings and the Christmas tree with numerous presents underneath.

We started off our BIG FEAST at this hour of the night…read on to see what time we ended… :D

I ordered baked ham, quichie and chocolate fudge cake from TP2 canteen. Don’t this cake look fabulous? In fact ITS YUMMY!!! I love the powerful chocolate taste of it lor.

I’ve not been a good scrapper lately. No scrapping going on. Because? NO TIME…TIME NOT ENOUGH… I wish at times I can just take leaves and rot at home and scrap to my heart’s content.  Been stocking up because of Christmas promos at LSS. Bought quite fair bits of stuffs I like. Waiting for heatgun and paper trimmer to be in stock. Those are in my wishlist for this year’s present. Initially it was a Big Shot in mind and nice hubby actually say OK to it. But after some self reflections, I dropped the idea of owning it as I really cannot 101% justify the cost of the machine, plus the investment I need to dump in after I buy the machine? Hmmm must curb my spending, next year is a tough one.. Maybe the year after too? God bless all of us….

Shocking Philips retrenchment hit Singapore news and my friends start to sms and ask if I’m affected. Greatly touched by such nice gestures that they care in a way or another. It didn’t hit my division this time round and we all hope (keeping our fingers crossed) that it will never hit us. Hope our business will prosperous 

Went for D&D last Friday night at SAF Yacht Club, Gallery by the Straits. Was deeply attracted by the seaview and saw the daylight turned to night. Nice scenery. Food was great but I didn’t eat much. Maybe I was too hungry til I have no appetite. 2 of my colleagues ran after me with color hairspray and being me, of cos I’ll do justice and have my revenge! Haha.. I too, went after them and PPPSsssiiiiii~~~ went my spray on their heads… hahaaha… COOL! Ain’t I glad I’m that artistic? Haha. Won myself a 80bucks NTUC voucher and got myself sabotaged by my colleague for games. Managed to get myself free from 2nd half event and that’s a big YESH! Haha..

Came back office to work on Saturday. DAMN IT! I HATE THE CENTRALISED LIGHTINGS AND AIRCON! Scare me few times lor when it auto trip off after 1hr. Irritating! Met my hubby and friends for dinner then back home to watch my recorded show and KO..

Supposed to wake up at 7am to go for our morning exercise but heaven is playing tricks on us. It rained the whole Sunday. Ended up sleeping under the cosy bed til 9. Haha.. Went to his cousin’s daughter’s full month party. Many aunts, uncles and cousins around. After that..hmmm went Central to walk around, went Liang Court to walk around and trained back home.

That’s my whole weekend. AGAIN…without scrapping. :p I shall bring my scrap stuffs to Batam this week and do something at night. NO TIME NO TIME!

Last month of the year

We have come so far til December 2008 now. Fast isn't it? 24 more days to Christmas, have you done your Christmas shopping yet? Well I have not officially get done with all. Still abit more to go. As usual, I'll be spending my Christmas with my newly promoted HUBBY and his friends. We have been celebrating together for the past 8 years! Really amazing that this has come so far. And of cos I wish for longer and more chances to spend Christmas together. :) Ah... a slight difference for this year is: My family will be joining us for this year. I guess I'll be the happiest girl this Christmas as I have ALL my best loved people with me that day.

I have been scrapping but just not posting. Done up 2 mini albums and finished up the canvas class by Laines. Tiring but satisfying! I love the canvas class to bitsss... Will be definitely hunting around for canvas to make my very own transfers.. Perhaps IF, IF time permits, this shall be my Christmas pressies to both my sisters. I enjoy making handfelt gifts nowadays, just that worrying people don't appreciate my effort. :p

Really feeling terribly sorry for MIA-ing so long. I have not been scrapping but I’ve been buying! And that’s bad I know. Soooo I’m going to make sure I start scrapping to justify my buys… Hehe..

Went Macau and Hong Kong with my dear hubby. A nice 6D5N trip for just 2 of us. Though at same point we’re hopping for companions…Especially when we’re feasting! 2 person really can’t eat alot. I still miss the fun that A and L travel with us for the Taipei trip. Anyway the overall trip was fun and I enjoyed it totally. Especially Disneyland! Hehe maybe I might be classified under the Turtle category cos THIS IS THE 1ST TIME I VISITED DISNEYLAND! I gone all gaga and gila when I saw the characters. OMG… MICKEY! MINNIE! GOOFY! PLUTO! Time flies huh...so fast and we're reaching year end already. Its now Novemeber, another month to Christmas. Time to start drilling my brain for gift ideas.

Have been busy with sorting ROM photos, planning for my Macau/HK trip as well as my best friend's wedding. Winkx2, 2 weeks past just like that. Time really flies...I need more time manz....hehe...This post shall be short, I'm going to do some scrapping now then off to my sushi making. :p

Just scrapped a layout. Had fun playing with glimmer mist on the white prima flowers, stamped wordings using different colors on the flowers.. So fun lor..but Sassafras Lass papers are really hard to scrap. Perhaps not really my style. Hehe..anyway I quite like the final outcome of the layout la. :p

My BIG day is finally over. Sorry for not posting lately. Been busy THINKING of what’s missing in my to-do list. J

Everything turned out smoothly on Sunday. DH came my place, had ai xin bee hoon then we (include my 2nd sis) head down to Amara Singapore. Reached there at 9am and check in hotel room. MUA arrive liao with PG shortly after my bath. Angeline really did a great job with my makeup and hairdo. Had a small scale ROM with our immediate families and some mutual close friends. Total of 31pax inclusive of my PG, Ernest. Friends starting coming at 11.30am. Our solemnizer Mr Chia Ti Yu went through a short rehearsal with us and our ceremony commerce at 12noon sharp. Mr Chia began with the standard ROM procedures, we replied the stand I DO and I WILL. After which we exchanged our personal vows and Mr Chia gave a meaningful sharing on marriage in Mandarin. I guess both our parents enjoyed the sharing session shared by him. Guess the most shocking moment was when Mr Chia gave both of us a surprise task, ask each of us to say I LOVE YOU and audiences must clap to acknowledge their consent to our marriage. Of cos, everything ended with a nice kiss on the lips, something which we never rehearse before and I’m glad we never ended up giggling. Hahaha…

Had photography session followed by buffet lunch. Thanks to Ernest for taking time off from his precious weekend to help us take ROM photos. I’m eagerly waiting to view the photos this weekend. So I’ll only show some sneak previews from my own camera. Pardon the ultra zi lian me cos most photos are my cheeky shots. Haha..

Wohoo! I'm loving this! Haha...Such colorful layout is rare from me ya? Don't know why the instinct to do up such colorful layout also. Maybe because the photo is too cheeky? And also maybe I just want to try out MESSY layout?

Anyway, never mind la...as long as the output is nice! Who care about WHY I want do colorful layout? Right? Hahaha

This weekend passed fast. Well, all weekend pass fast... And that's sad because I'm starting to feel the MONDAY BLUES slowly coming its way to find me. :D Done up a few pending stuffs for my ROM. Now left just a few more to go. Target: Wed finish all!

Hopefully my cough go off soon. Its always hard for me to recover from a cough whenever I get one and thats irritating especially when you just want to have fun! Go go go AWAY stupid virus.....

Oh ya, today is my dear friend's MQ's birthday. Of cos I didn't forget that. In fact I sms her 12am on 19 Oct. AND...aint I glad to be the 1st one to sms her. Just done up a layout. Finished this in less than 1.5hours. Not bad liao :D And I think I seldom have 2 photo layout. This should be my pioneer attempt.

Altered also a sheer namecard holder from Muji for my hotel coordinator. Intend to give it to her for being our 'parttime emcee'.

I've got something for my photographer also. BUT should be kept in suspense for time being because he might just chanced upon this blog. *giggling*

Wohoo! Its F1 craze this weekend for most people. Bf and me decided to go join in the fun, to experience the F1 power. Nah...We didn't buy any tickets. But roamed around to find nice spot to view. Some photos to share below :p

Meet bf at City Hall MRT on Sat's afternoon. I was greeted by crowds of F1 fans. I'll presume so from their dressings and of cos their pro camera compared to my Canon Powershot :D

Its already Tuesday. That will mean 3 more days to weekend. Nothing special these 2 days. Just work and home. Scrapping also on-going and I've finished my long waited family album (yet to take photos, will post once I take photos). Done up a simple layout earlier on. This time is a recent photo of my cousins and me :) Photo taken during CNY this year. Have another photo to scrap but let me think of a nicer and more cheeky kind of layout. Not sure why the background cardstock changes color. Should be Yellow :)

Will have to settle some issues this weekend regarding ROM preparations. Have some targets to achieve. Let me think... should have more..think think :p

Yohooo...TGIF! Super relaxing day at work... In fact I didn't work much. Nua here, nua there...soon its noon time and we had buffet in office followed by monthly meeting. Then its EARLY DISMISSAL! Wohoo! I knock off at 3pm! Went swimming, went Plaza Sing roam around. Ended up at Daiso. Hehe...

Hehe realised I have not been around since end of August. So sorry folks. Been busy with my work at office, my school project and spending time with my family.

I feel so blessed last weekend. Been long since I feel such strong family bond. So happy to be able to spend both Sat and Sun with them. I brought my family along for my office family day. Went on board Cheng Ho Cruise for hi-tea and stopover at Kusu Island. Finally took a few family shots. Its really HARD to get a proper family shot. I like that! Really! Will post when I downsize the photo. Its dinner after the cruise at Vivocity. Nothing fantastic, in fact I prefer the snacks during hi-tea compared to the dinner :X Went down Chinatown with my family to see the Mid Autumn Festival lightups. Walked around for awhile and head home.

Its my eldest sister’s birthday on Sun. Bought her a Russ bear photo frame. Had it all planned that I’ll print out our family photo at Kusu island and framed it up. My uncle drove my family out for furniture viewing at noon. I’m supposed to meet them with my bf for dinner at Marina Square. Rare that daddy actually suggest going OUT for dinner. You should see the GLOW in my eyes when he say ‘we go out eat dinner tonight’. OMG! I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I just feel so silly this whole weekend cos I truly enjoyed my family’s companion. Had a nice dinner at Dian Xiao Er, got the membership since we spent over $150 there. Subsequent visits at 15% off. Good! Went over Suntec for the food fair, walked around and head home.

Had my final year project presentation on Tue afternoon. Done up my posters, user manual, presentation slides, all geared up. Can’t help but still to feel abit tense since I’m the 2nd last student to present. Luckily, there are only 2 judges left so that lessen the tension. Everything went on smoothly until the demo part. Gosh he actually go calculate the timebase display and found out my display is HALF OF WHAT IT SHOULD BE. Freaked me off a little. But I was glad he actually give me a chance to amend my software  Hope things go well.

Here I am typing my entry for blog right after sending a test report out. Just consolidated my testing at work. Abit relax before I head off to start another project. It’s more and more and never ending queues… Why can’t they have another person to lessen my load? Haiz…

Been trying to use up my past kits stash. Therefore been scrapping frantically lately. Not bad right? Well, at least can clear stash mah.

Just done up a quick layout. Finished this whole layout in approximately 1hr. Quite fast for me already... Hehe and *um hmmm* I feel I've really improved lately on my 12x12 layout. Its an achievement. Although I'm still not as good as those pro scrappers but I feel satisfied already :p

Here's the layout out I've just finished. Used the Feb SOMO kit pp, AL slogan rubon, Kaiser swirls rubon and Prima flowers. Doodled the scallop cs as I find the completed layout abit plain.

Just to edit this post to add in 2 more LO I done up today. In ultra crafting and scrapping mood today. Don't ask me why. I think because I've let my proj off for whole week, feeling stressfree bah :p

Hehe...Pls be mindfully prepared that this post is going to be flooded with pictures of yummy delicious food I had on Fri and Sat.

I shall start off with a little lighter part of the post. That's on my scrapping. Done up a LO on my 3 cousins. I managed to dig out a 4 yrs old photo and start scrapping on it cos I realised I've never scrapped anything on the little boy before. :p

Now comes the interesting part...

Bf and me went down to Amara to confirm our ROM package. Well initially abit kind of irritated cos our coordinator actually let us wait for almost 40min! Amazing right? Well in my opinion, at least you should let your client know you'll be late and not ask client to wait at the lobby like idiots, call her twice somemore. But things turned out well la, can tell she might have kanna buah butter before she came down, so she's forgiven by us. Being apologetic, she signed the bill and we had our dinner at the cafe there. Interesting food I tell you. WHICH I don't think I'll pay for a $14.90 laksa, and a $12.90 beef hoo fun if I were to go there myself. But they really taste fantastic. See the picture and you'll know why.

Brain suddenly freezed. Can't think of an interesting title so I just put today's date. :D

Congratulations to Team Singapore, Table Tennis heroines for bringing Singapore our 1st Silver medal in 48 years! Well done! You ladies rox!!!

Done up a LO on Saturday morning. Its another one on my cousin who's 12 this year. Such a sweet girl isn't she? Wish she can do well in her PSLE this year. I promise her a BIG TREAT if she can get into her dream sec sch :) GAMBATTE!

This weekend seems too fast to have. Went bridal shop on Saturday late afternoon to try out the gown for my ROM. Finally came to conclusion after about 2hrs there? Hehe..Abit fAT to show photo so I shall skip it. Keep you all in suspense :D Went down Changi Beach for friend's bbq. Nice and cooling that night. Didn't eat much since my stomach still ain't feeling that well. Went back past midnight and KO after bathing. I'm tired... Went 'shop' for bf's suit on Sunday and we bought it at a warehouse sales for suits. Material not bad, design and cutting suits him too. Thats why concluded to buy it.

Well for work wise, I think I really need to buck up. Been slagging behind for quite sometime le. Need to pull up my socks real high up :D

Happy 43rd Birthday to Singapore! Maybe this wish came too late since its 9th Aug and its already 11th Aug now. Hehe...But wish better than never wish mah :p

Surfed net this morning for Olympics 100m Butterfly Women's category. Too bad Tao Li didn't manage to break her personal best and get a medal for Singapore. Nevertheless, I still feel she has done a fabulous job *thumbs up*

This is the sumptuous steamboat dinner I had with my bf while watching National Day Parade. BUT! The sickening thing is... This meal caused my bf and me to have food poisoning! I didn't suffer much just 1.5days of 'foodless' treat because I simply feel like puking but nothing came out! But then my dear bf is on MC today. Still can't believe all these sumptuous food actually cause us to suffer so much! Is it the BEEF? Gosh!

Hello people. Sorry that I’ve gone missing for so long. Been busy with my project. Finally rushed through and submitted my report last Friday. Nightmare is half over. Because? Because there are still others to do. Website to upload by 8th Aug. Presentation slides ready by 13th Aug, mock presentation on 15th Aug. And of cos to wait for the final presentation on Don’t Know When! Many things lining up for me… *tired*

My dear bf is back from US already. My scrapbook stuffs are also all back from US. Coach stuffs also back. Wohoo my expenditure is HIGH! Haha… havn’t had time to take photo of my loots and I’ve already packed them nicely up in my garbage dumping ground. Why I say so? Because my whole studyroom is now in a big mess. Seriously need to find time to pack and sort out things, lelong stuffs I don’t need. Maybe that might help? Let’s see when I have the time to do so.

Still, some random thoughts ran down my brain. Isn’t it nice to have hubby to share the same hobby as you? That is…to have a scrapper as hubby! COOL! Envy. I wonder if my bf can ever be a scrapper. Maybe when we live together, he can try to use my stash to create something. I THINK he’ll enjoy the process. Practise makes perfect. HOR? AGREE? Hehe…

Haha people must be thinking this girl is crazy, so longing for Monday to come. Of cos la...cos my dear bf is finally coming back from US. His 3rd trip to US though still don't make me suffer alot from Xiang Si Bing. But still at times will make me feel lost without him beside me. *bleah* ok just some random thoughts passing by that I do need him to comfort me at times :p

Havn't had time to download the photo on the shadow box I scrapped for Werner last week as his farewell present. Here you go. A simple one cos its my 1st attempt on shadow box.

After much persuasion and nagging from my sisters, I finally leave my house in evening today with them to Ikea. My second sis wanted to get some shelves for her new wardrobe. We bought quite alot of stuffs but didn't carry any back cos we opted for delivery. 1 set of dining table for kitchen, 2 shelves, 4 metal trousers hangers, 4 shadow boxes and 1 container. Out of all, 2 hangers, 4 shadow boxes and 1 container belong to me! Hahaha.. All to be used. Don't ask me for what purpose cos the answer is obvious... :p

Oh ya. In case my dear bf read this blog while waiting for his plane. Don't worry. I doing my report, never slack. I also shopped and brainstormed about my house renovation cos my WHOLE HOUSE is in a mess now. Don't get a shock if you're sending me back home on Monday night cos my WHOLE HOUSE is really messy now. I mean WHOLE...really is WHOLE...wahahaha!

Had CTQ training today for half day. Went back office in afternoon and work half day. Went off on dot, back home for dinner, ate yogurt with fresh strawberry! YUMMY!

Was at Sentosa last Friday for my GM's farewell party at Ami's restuarant. The view is fantastic, facing Song of the Sea directly. Wohoo! Can you imagine the direct view from the restuarant itself. Awesome to be viewing the wonderful laser, fire, fountain displays TWICE an evening :p FREE somemore wor... wahahhaa... But one cons is that I don't really fancy the food. Actually I wasn't even full when I stop eating. Not nice la... Ops :X

Our GM, Mr Werner and some of us ladies. He's going back Amsterdam to pursue a higher level of his career. All the best to this wonderful boss whom I really enjoyed working with. Imagine a boss with no airs, a boss who will talk to you like a friend, who can even go clubbing with you! I really like this kind of GM. Too bad he's leaving. But still, the new boss is just as good I'll presume cos Miguel is another interesting boss whom can talk to me as casually as Werner does.

Something to share about my dinner on Sunday. Mummy helped me cook the white rice while I handle the rest. Ok I know I'm lousy. I really have no idea how to cook white rice! Haha don't ask me why. Its still the same with my boyfriend. He'll cook the white rice, I'll cook the dishes. Hehe...

Wohoo I scrapped this weekend...FINALLY!!! Hmmm FYP...scrapping...FYP...scrapping..that's how my whole weekend is. Boring huh? But I had a great Friday night with my friends. Went watch Red Cliff, then to a pub to chillout.

Blissful marriage to my friends

Both J and W are my poly club friends. Looking back I've known them for 10 long years! Very long ya? They had been an item since 1999! A whooping 9 years of relationship. They had their ROM at Park Royal 11 March 2007. They had their customary 1 year later on 6 July 2008. I was one of the Jie Meis last Sunday. Didn't take many photos. Shall wait for her PG to pass her the softcopy then I can choose some memorable ones to keep. Here are some photos taken during the dinner at Novotel Clarke Quay.

Went Genting with my colleagues last weekend. Go casino? No no...I don't gamble de. I went down KL with J on Saturday morning. For what? SHOPPING! Haha...

Went stocktake at Batam factory over the weekend. Spent the whole day at factory doing stockcount, verifications, reverifications. Quite an experience for me since I've never stayed in a hotel alone before. Checked in at iHotel, Batam at 7++pm since I left factory late with a few other colleagues. Went up to the room and tar dar..this is what greeted me. Pretty pleased with the amenities. Clean and odourless room with king size bed, broadband access, 29" flat tv with numerous channels, interesting enough to attract me. What's most important is the clean toilet :) Went for dinner at Fishermen Restaurant at Nagoya shopping centre. Went for body massage after that. Overall this trip is enjoyable with the exception I didn't get to go buy my DONUTS! Duhz..we're rushing for ferry la..LL lor.. That's my only regrets :)

Reached back Singapore at 1+pm. Went Kim Gary with C and J to have our lunch. Went shop around at Vivo with C. Bought my ring files from Daiso, this border punch at $4.75 from Art Frenzy since its 50% off for all punches..

I brought something FUN to work today. Went around tricking people that this is baked by me.

Seeing it real is more interesting because not only this bread looks real…It even has the smell of real bread! BUT…Duhz… This is actually a stress squeeze ball + a wrist support for computer :D

Had lunch with my bf's parents. They brought me to TPY Lor 5 Blk 75 for Teochew porridge. YUM~~~ I love the food there and these are what we had today + 3 bowls of porridge for S$14.50! Cheap isn't it?

I saw this at some scrapper's blog few days ago. Feel its very inspiring so just want to share it with you people :)

So fast its Friday once again. Actually feeling quite guilty that I've been MIA-ing lately in my bloggy. So sorry.

Going Excelsior Hotel for Korean steamboat with my girlfriends tonight. J organised this dinner to introduce the sisters gang for her wedding in July. This shall be the 2nd wedding among 4 of us. 1 more coming up in Nov.

Going over to Batam for stocktake this weekend and this shall earn me 1.5days of annual leave. Going to buy back donuts for my darlings and sisters. Hehe..too bad my dear bf not in Sgp. You missed it.

Done up a LO few days ago. Not much of MOJO lately. Maybe because my brain is too occupied with my FYP :p

I've actually done up some bits and pieces of mini projects, but not fully done up yet. Once ALL are ready, I'll take pictures and post. Be patient please...time is running too fast for me lately. Going die at this rate. Heart attack coming! Haha...

Hmmm been long huh? That I last posted. Been busy la...so sorry :)

Nothing much going on for me. Life is just about eat, sleep, work, FYP. So tiring manz. This coming week going to be more tiring for me. Boss going on holidays and I'm taking over her project. Duhz...quite a major project which I'm not involved from scratch. Had to catch up big time. Hopefully nothing much go wrong when she's not around. Pray for me...

Hmmm FYP wise...so far so good. Really very glad I have some 'gods' in office I can turn to for help. After meeting my local sup in school this evening do boost my morale abit higher liao. Let's see if my 1st initial firmware is able to debug tomorrow :D

Wohoo! Finally Friday is coming. A quick post before I get myself ready for bed. Want to sleep earlier tonight. I turning panda real soon liaoz..

This is the wrist corsage I help my girlfriend make. This is for her 2nd match-in use. She's saying she don't want to hold hand bouquet during the banquet.

Ok this is the interesting one. Guess how many people's LOOTS are inside this small Laines recycle bag, targetting for 40% discount? Let me count...Mine, I, S, SC, M... 5 of us squeeeezeeeee our goodies in this tiny bag to try to fully utilise 1 bag per week. :D Interesting leh.. Thanks SC for good packing service.

Scrapped an old piece of photo. My girlfriends and me. Known these two ladies since polytimes. Though we are all busy, hard to meet up. It's still very nice that I have such good friends, always around when I need them.

Realised that I have not updated for a week already :p

Nothing much interesting going on for me for the past week. Go work, go home, surf net, fyp, scrapbook. I think for the whole week, most interesting event would be to watch Indiana Jones. Haha.. Boring life right? How about you?

Altered the Daiso cork board already. Passed it to my colleague. Duhz. He say 'abit girly'. Hmmm I already try to make it not so girly le leh. Go home then post the photo online. I started on MR birdie chipboard album using SOMO May's kit. Pasted all 8 pieces(front and back) BUT…still no idea to scrap using what photos so I shall pend it for the time being. I started another album using stash from SOMO kits also. This time a 8x8 album titling OUR FAMILY. Intention is to make a blank album for 'future' use. I want to document members of my family and members of my bf's family after our wedding photoshot. We'll have family portraits ma so just nice to incorporate them into the album also. That's all for last week's scrapping updates. :D

For FYP, my microchip development board is finally here! Shipped all the way from US to Singapore. Haha..by Fedex. Was so happy to see the familiar Fedex man walking towards my direction. Broad smile on my face when he ask me to sign acknowledgement. The feeling of signing MY OWN PARCEL is great! Haha… Anyway finally can get to play with the actual thing. Hopefully my final installlation will work with this board. Will test out the board soon with online available solutions. Then I can start off to consolidate raw data for my data acquisition portion. Chiminology and I need to go find my cousin again. Hehe…so paiseh…

Suddenly a happy girl cos I just received phone call from my dear bf on my hp! Hehe..although almost wanted to scold that fella over the phone cos he keep saying 'good morning good morning' BUT after thinking, processing, that voice sounds so familiar. ITS MY BF! Duhz… Time flies and he's away for a month already. ENDURE….7 more weeks to go!

I'm bored at work, with all the documentations. Damn sleepy lorzzzzz….

Anyway this weekend pass real quickly. Hardly have time to recupurate and its Monday again.

Anyway some quick summary of this weekend… I guess a pictorial one should be more fun?

Friday
I knocked off at 5pm because its National Family Day. Its "Eat with your family day" so my company have 'early dismissal' at 5pm. Had a free ride back to CCK by my boss. No no..by my boss's driver, ie her husband. Haha.. So I reach back CCK only 530pm! Went Lot1 to roam awhile. Reach home, had dinner and get my butt moving to go my cousin's house. Need his help in my FYP. Oh…hehe abit embarassed cos I didn't know it was his birthday that day! So coincident. His wife bought a cake, my niece sang birthday song. It’s a small celebration, with me as intruder! :p

Sat
Meet my small cousins at CCK MRT, took train down to Orchard. Had lunch at Pepper Lunch, enjoyed a sumptuous meal, fully bloated. We ordered a combo set.(Steak+Hamburger, Salmon+Chicken, 2 rice, 2 salad, 2 icecream, 2 drinks). Yes…WE FINISHED THOSE! Haha….Photo speaks louder than words…here you go..

Went down to Pasir Ris Costa Sands Resort to attend my ex-colleague's daughter's 1st birthday party. So fast and Joreen is 1 yr old already. Time flies…. She look exactly like her brother, Yang. Totally SAME MOULD lor… Didn't get to take picture with her though but I took photo of her yummy cake(so interesting) and agar agar(so girly). Reach back Yew Tee at 1030, no need send cousins back because uncle and aunt brought the small boy out to go supper together :D

Woke up, done my laundry, supposed to go Causeway Point with mummy and eldest sister but I'm lazy…So? So I rot at home, SKYPE with my dear bf. After that some project, some tv and end up napping 2 hrs to 730pm. That's a dreadful nap that caused me insomia at night lor. Watched the Sichuan charity show and I make my 1st call 1900 1125123 - $50 donation. The show is touching. At some point, I was really touched. Touched by the poems read by artists, touched by the shots by journalists at borders. Haiz. it’s a horrible natural disaster.. After the show ended, the news came up with another shocking 6.4 ritcher scale earthquake! Haizzzz….Can heaven pls stop torturing the poor natives? PLSSS…

Its Friday!

TGIF! Its Friday already. Tomorrow will be a hectic one for me. Will be out the whole day with my cousins. Bringing them out since its school holidays. Will go buy JR's longggg belated pressie first then to Wild Wild Wet (still pondering though if should go WWW since its family day week, there'll be family day carnivals going on at Downtown East itself.) Shall work things out with my cousins again. Last part would be to go attend a 1 yr old girl's birthday party. My ex colleague invited some of us over to the party. So thought bring my cousins along so I won't get so bored taking train alone myself :p

Went Golden Mile Tower for dinner with my colleagues last night. Steamboat+Hainanese Chicken Rice+Sweet Sour Pork+Fried Squid…Sumptuous dinner! Had talks with ex-colleagues also. Not bad after all to dine with colleagues once in blue moon.

Guess will have to put scrapbooking aside for sometime liao. Got to work hard on my FYP. Due date is faster than estimated. Going bang wall soon le. Haiz…hopefully people around can render their kind help. Need to finish up programming, interfacing, report, webpage in 1.5mths! Good luck to me. I'm thinking am I a parttime student or a fulltime student. Haiz….Ok don't want continue too much. Abit sian myself. How feel like going home rest before heading over to my cousin's place. Seek his help for my FYP and hopefully he's the right person :)

Hehe..almost forgotten I can post my works online already, until I saw in I's blog. So here are my scrapbook works in case you all thought I've given up my hobby for accessories making. :)

Done these for an online challenge. Since shortlisted finalists already and yours truly me is definitely not in the list, so I can post them in my blog already :p

Door hanger. Cutting of pp and do popups...add on glossy ascent and bead ribbons..I pretty much like this door hanger. Let's see who's the lucky one who I've decided to give away as a gift :)

Amara LO. We took this photo during the wedding show at Amara Hotel on 5th April. Thought it'll be nice to scrap something on our 'Hotel Shopping' So tar-dar...here it is.. There's a mini pull-out tag that journals abit.

Captivating eyes LO. All self portraits after my friend's wedding. Like the way the makeup artist done up my eyes and that explains this LO.

My sister LO. Printed her grad photo using cardstock and there turns out a nice texture piece.

My cutey cousin when she was young. I love this particular photo of her. So scrapped it.

Vesak Day

Today is Vesak Day in Singapore. Had an additional day off for me :p Went to the chinese temple with mum and eldest sister at Clementi Ave 6. Seeing is believing...definitely still tons of believers in Buddhisim. Look at the pictures, sooo many people lor and I was sweating like mad! We went queueing, walk in rounds with the joss-stick in hand to pray in front of the Buddha inside the main hall. Walked out and went the other side to queue again to 'bathe' the Buddha statue which they call 'Yu Fo' (in the picture also). Then finally took the curry vege with bee hoon and eat it under the big tentage. Everyt year this temple will have free food as a form of 'giving' to believers who came for prayers.

Went to IMM after temple visit. Oh I was so amused by this sight that I definitely have to take a picture :p Look at this! It's miniature watermelon lor..the same size as my hand wor. Hehe..my dear bf..pls judge how big is this watermelon from your imagination...

Bought some clothes today and I need to show it here for my dear bf again..because? BECAUSE I SPEND $...haha...but don't worry, this time is under mummy's permission. She say 'some of your clothes can clear out le la, some old le, very obvious color fade liao leh' So that explains why I buy clothes k? :D Bought a green cardigan(brandless), a white lacy sphagetti (BYSI), a green racer back tee (Espirt) and another pink tee (Espirt).. Not bad hor? Adding more GREENS in my wardrobe. My cols will have more chances of looking at me and say 'today EARTH DAY?' :)

Hmmm my Sunday is pretty interesting too. Why? Because I spend my Sunday accompanying my mummy again. This time to NTUC for grocery shopping at 930am! Then back home close to noon time. Had some personal time with my project, my earring making, chit chat with my bf via skype then off to cut vege for dinner. POPIAH! Did I mention before that I ONLY LIKE POPIAH AT HOME? I never like eating popiah outside. Reason being very simple, because I love my mummy's popiah too much that I never like the taste of outside popiah :D

This is after my 1st bite! Hahaha!

I'm CONFUSED

Aiyo...I'm seriously confused! Confused by those AUSTRALIAN professors and doctors! I had my FYP presentation yesterday afternoon and was totally freaked off by their cruel comments, slamming me real hard onto my face! Sent an email update to my aust supervisor and guess what's his reply? 'Thanks for the update and presentation slides. Seems that you are progressing well. Regards, Brett' My whole brain is now confused. So what do the interviewers want from me? Or really like what my local supervisor mentioned, they only trying to stress me to continue to work hard? DUHZ! I start to hate those australians! Arghhh... Oh btw, no hard feelings if any australians happened to be reading this blog entry. Just want to vex my anger. I'm totally a non-nationalist :)

Haiz.. k k k...put those sad and demoralising things aside. I've uploaded my 3 layouts and 1 altered project into TheScrappersLoft forum for a online scrapbook challenge. Just for the fun of it. Next time then I'll post in my blog when the challenge is over as its supposed to be brand new ideas, not published anywhere.

I've finally completed my half done mini album for myself. Really a simple one so not showing the details inside. Don't have much MOJO for this :)

Quite a fair bit of achievements

Hmmm quite a fair bit of achievements for my whole saturday.

Summary:
- completed my Korean drama (I am Sam)
- scrapped a simple Mother's Day card
- updated my FYP presentation slides
- went NTUC with mummy
- updated my BRAIN with FYP presentation stuffs

Maybe to most people doing all these in a single day ain't difficult. BUT for me, its indeed an achievement. Especially to deal with FYP! Haha..Final Year Project take up most of my time today. Let's hope things go well tomorrow for me.

Saw this cute beetle from my kitchen balcony this morning. That block have wedding couple. So cute...

Must really introduce this kind of mango to those who have not tried before. Its call Quay Ni Mango. Simply smell ULTRA nice! The mango aroma is terrific I must say!

2nd sis came back from her work trip today. She bought me this set of Japanese paper from Kyoto! Ain't they so nice? Ain't cheap. Around S$11 for this pack. But I still feel cheap as I've been trying hard to recall how much LSS selling. I still think its over $20 lor.. *slurp*

Ahhh I've got the Fiskars puncher on Thur already. Yummilicious! Finally own my 1st punch. I think I'll get a couple more. Nice to use lor..

So fast, one week past just like that. For me, this whole week is work, project, scrapbook, eat and sleep. Haha typical of me. Just a slight difference. I have not been eating good food lately. Time for a change....to Normal food. :)

Almost forgotten to blog about Laines' crop class that I joined on 29th April. Basically to make door hanger. The goodie bag is fantastic and I finally took a shot of it. Quite worth it. Had fun chatting with fellow scrappers, play games and enjoy special discount storewide! Good! I'll love to join more of such crop next time. :)

This is made by ME! Yesh! Rose from polymer clay. Not bad huh? This is my 1st piece of rose lor. I'll make more when I'm free then bake it somewhere (definitely not my home cos my mum will kill me if I ever use her cooking oven!)

Oh..don't know why also recently my workbench is damn messy at work lor. I couldn't resist and just took a snapshot this afternoon. Simply like pig sty! I need to start clearing soon. IA student is coming on Monday and yet everything is in a big mess. Haiz...

Today is Friday. My office will have weekly fruit sale. Today yours truly bought quite a fair bit of fruits. Bought rambutans, mangosteen, rose apple and HALF A BOX OF STRAWBERRY. Must be wondering why half right? Because they sold off ALL their strawberry le. Uncle see me pathetic, sold me his half box for $1.50. Not bad deal wor. Have about 10 pieces inside and that box of strawberry, all very sweet. Yum~ Suddenly recall not many people will know what's mangosteen. Its those in the picture below. Supposingly to be a kind of 'cooling' fruits. Durian is heaty. They saying eat mangosteen to reduce heatyness. Don't know how true.

Ok. Today is Fri and I finally feel tired! Going sleep soon le. Time to chat with my bf tomorrow via Skype! FINALLY! Hehe..Til next time...

He's gone....

He's gone...to Alabama. 4th May 2008, sent off my beloved boyfriend at Changi Airport Terminal 3 this afternoon. He took SQ38 to LA. Will be back on 28th July. Tata...check my bloggy often hor..I'll try to update often :)

Hmmm noticed I have not updated anything since 27th April. Sorry folks. Busy with my bf :D Anyway I think this post will set most of you thinking and wondering why am I always showing photos of FOOD? Reason is very simple. Both my bf and me like to eat NICE food...soooo FEED ME WITH NICE FOOD! WAhahaha...

Next shall be my update on my birthday on 28th April. Work as usual as I didn't take leave. Ok..abit more on food...These 2 photos taken on Friday. Was on half day leave, accompany my bf, had lunch together, his birthday treat from me. His birthday on 15th May but he'll be away in Alabama by then, so pre-celebrated with him. Went Waraku at Starhub Centre. That's again FOOD, mind you :D

Went for our massage on Saturday. Walked all the way to One Fullerton, thinking to have dinner at Black Angus, not knowing closed down already. That's us along the bridge from One Fullerton to Esplanade.

Ended up at Esplanade for dinner at Thai Express instead :)

Ok, see what I mean by using handphone camera to do illegal things? Don't know legal or not to take photo in a shop. Wanted my bf to try to find this Fossil leather bag in US. Hehe..I like this size, can squeeze in my waterbottle, passport, wallet etc when out travelling. Hehe..

Havn't me been posting on time passes real fast recently? Ya..now really is real fast because? Because in less than an hour's time..Yours truly here is going to be 1 year older. Gosh...Hitting 27 year old soon. How 'young' do that sounds? Hmmm time after 21st birthday really do pass fast. Time pass for work, school, friends, family...etc. It really feels like 'WINK OF EYES' like what chinese sayings always go... GOSH...It's 27 this year, 28 for next, 29 for next next and soon I'll be hitting the BIG 3! Scary isn't it? Well, take things as it come bah. For now, ENJOY MY 27th BIRTHDAY! Haha...

Well just some photos to share for my good friend's wedding on Friday. Helped the couple out the whole day, totally tire me out. Slept at 1+am and woke up at a freaking 5am!!! I go work also not so hardworking lor... But glad that whole day went smoothly for both E and D. Sincerely wish them blissful marriage forever... Hope they're having a great time at Phuket now :p

Oh..I mentioned in my previous blog that one of my FAVOURITE fruit is Strawberry right? Look what D's mum bought on his big day. This plate of SUPER BIG, JUICY, SWEET strawberries! They're simply YUMMILICIOUS lor. Auntie say she bought them at Tanjong Pajar market. Look at those stalks still attached...Its VERY FRESH...YUMMY!

Gosh...Can you look at your calendar again? Its 22nd APRIL!!! Fast hor? Its like not long ago we just celebrated Christmas and countdown to 2008 and Chinese New Year. And NOW? Going to be May very soon.

This is our dinner on Saturday night. Went watch Forbidden Kingdom at PS...then had dinner at Ichiban with A,LS and Mr L. Oh that day we ate alot. Trust me! REALLY alot. Snacked during movie, dinner, Thai desserts when playing pool and beancurd+dough fritters for SUPPER! WAhahahaha...

The more horrifying part.. on SUNDAY! Haha...met up with my good old time pals for lunch at Werners Oven at Siglap. Its a German restaurant. I love the sausages and the dessert!

That's the bread with abit of salty taste because of the salt on top..Then the other plate is the cheese with cranberry sauce.

Wah..so fast Monday already. 2 more days to 16th Apr! Gosh...can time move slower? I'm not done with my revision! Past week had been tedious and tiring with me rushing dateline for my FYP interim report. FYP simply stands for Final Year Project in case some of you might not know what it is. I'll be doing the USB Oscilloscope project proposed by aussie's Prof Brett. Tough tough..getting tougher as I read more and probe more into the project. Tonnes of programming skills needed. See how I dieeeeee

Rushed and submitted my report on Friday night. Went for class on Saturday morning totally like a zombie. Stayed in school's library for about 2 hrs before heading off to Dover Road to get my lens and to make mum a pair of sunglasses(sponsored by my 2 elder sisters and me) Then off I go down to Plaza Singapura to wait for my dear bf. Can't resist all the nicey food temptations at basement, ended up eating THIS! Tell you...its really a MUST HAVE! The sausage is yummilicious! Haha..Finished it, went MWL for a 'tour' and ended up with a $7.50 bill on this stamp. Went for movie with bf, went bought our wedding bands and off we go back to East side and pick his mum up, send her home and zoommmm! We went Blk 85 Bedok for SUPPER~! Hehe...2 of us had stingray, oyster omelette and 4 chicken wings! BURP!!! SO BAO! hahaha..SHhhhhh...I know FATTENING...but ok la, once in a blue blue moon :p

Ok la..end here to head off back to my revision. Concus mode coming. So need to destress abit by blogging since I CAN'T SCRAP~! Haha..

Wahahaha! Can't help but to keep grinning away after seeing review comments from my project supervisor. Hmmm but still abit worried cos do little comments means got problem? Or really done? These few weeks been busy rushing my final year project's interim report and webpage. No time to do scrapping or accessories. Keep seeing Irene come up with new stuffs make my heart itch so much lor! Accumulating my stash. MUST start scrapping right after exam for 2 days, then prepare for my interim presentation, then start scrapping again! Wohoo! I must make a point to scrap min 2 LOs per week after my presentation! Then I can fully utilise my stash and look forward to new stashes in few months time! *wink*

Couldn't resist the temptation earlier on and done up 1 LO. This photo is taken together with my old time pals WT and MQ. Believe it? We've known one another for 14 freaking years! From Sec 1 til now lor...I'm so glad our friendship is so everlasting. OF COS I wish for many more years to come and pass. OMG! I'm damn freaking sian now...reason? I can't seems to finish writing my report! ARGGGHHH KILL ME! Shoulder and neck aching and...NO MORE BOILED WATER!!! Stupid daddy pour all the water into his water bottle and happily go for his basketball session! Bloody hell..he'll get it from me when he come back later. For? For leaving me die of thrist at my own home! Haha...ok I'm just abit grouchy now..any slight thing can irritate me to bits..

Anyway let me do some blogging 1st before continuing with my torture.

My brunch for Saturday..Tang Yuan with sweet peanut soup... Simply can't recall how long have I not have this...YUM~ Mummy thought her daughter is a glutton. Siao boh, cook 15 Tang Yuan for me! End up? I managed to squeeze in 7 pieces...she ate 7 and daddy help to eat the last piece in my bowl..I'm so much a happy little princess at home when everybody is in good mood :p

Hmmm something happy to share. Bf and me went down Amara for their wedding fair yesterday. Confirmed our booking for 26th Sept 2009. Hmmm not bad, managed to add enough perks to make me happy.

I've got itchy hands. Hands and brain that don't listen to me. Haha...I'm supposed to refrain myself from scrapping these few weeks to make time for my revision and fyp report. BUT then....my itchy hands just want to get their hands into the toyogo box to dig out stashes to scrap! So...this is my end product. I printed my favourite shot taken at Sentosa 2 weeks ago. :p

Haha...YESH! I'm so proud of myself..Hehe so shameless! Reason? Because I made these...nice or not? Was inspired by my col's pair of earrings she wore last week. So thought of going it a go and tar dar...I personally feel its a not bad try liao :)

Oh ya. In case my dear friends keep wondering which designer am I talking about. Well she's Christina, owner of babelittlethings. She has her online store as well as boxes at inQbox at Raffles City, Suntec and Parkway Parade. Hehe..do free advertisement for her. I know some of you like accessories..so do drop by any of her stores and you'll find nice pieces to pick up.

Had dinner with bf's friends at Tony Romas last night. Its NICE!!...See the food and you'll know what my bf and me shared. :p Went for beer after that at Millenia Walk and off we go back heading home.

My meaningful long weekend

Had an ultra meaningful long weekend this time round. Why? Read on and you'll know why :)

Friday was Singapore's public holiday. It was GOOD FRIDAY! Nothing significant to me but I like it just because its another rest day for me. Dear bf picked me up at Bedok and we went over to Parkway Parade for some shopping, grocery shopping to prepare for our Saturday's bbq. Then went over his house to do some marinating. Had Korean style steamboat for dinner that night with his family at home.

Quick summary on what I've done over at Sentosa.

Saturday
Woke up early, not because I'm ultra excited over my long weekend. But rather my bio clock auto wake me up. Went NTUC with mummy, came back home and start packing. Went over Harbourfront to meet bf, MQ and WT and off we go to SENTOSA! I booked the Kampung Hut from Costa Sands Resort. Went for my 1st luge ride. Its FUN! Had my bbq and off we go to explore Sentosa at night.

Sunday
We started our day off with Delifrance breakfast. Then off to Imbiah Lookout to purchase our combo package for entrance to Butterfly Park, 4D show, Merlion and Images of Singapore for S$30.90. Basically bf and me became tourists for a day! Its fun, I enjoyed it totally. Main reason? Because I took lots of photos and of cos get to spend quality time with my dear bf. He's cheeky. There are some photos which I won't post because its him posing all SILLY! Haha..
